Rhiannon Clarricoates ACR is an ICON Accredited Paintings Conservator specialising in the conservation of paintings, decorative surfaces and historic interiors with more than twenty years' experience across the commercial heritage and academic sectors. 

As Co-Director of Lincoln Conservation, Rhiannon leads complex consultancy, practical conservation and collaborative research projects, working with museums, heritage organisations, historic houses, places of worship and private clients. She combines practical conservation with technical art historical research to develop evidence-led solutions. Alongside project leadership, she also oversees the supervision of interns and students.

Rhiannon plays an active role in the wider conservation profession as a long-standing member of the ICON Paintings Group, ICON Accreditation Assessor and CPD reader. Rhiannon also sits on the Lincoln Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches, advising the Chancellor on conservation matters relating to faculty applications. She has published and presented widely, contributing to professional practice, public engagement and broadcast media.

Dr Jim Cheshire is a cultural historian specialising in the visual and material culture of the nineteenth century with experience in both academic and cultural institutions. 

As Co-Director of Lincoln Conservation and Associate Professor of Cultural History at University of Lincoln, Jim develops collaborative consultancy and research projects that bring together historians, conservators, heritage scientists and practitioners. His work connects historical interpretation with material evidence, facilitating a broad understanding and communication of cultural heritage.

Jim has published extensively and regularly contributes to collaborative research. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of William Morris Studies, and Honorary Secretary of The Tennyson Society.
